My NFL first 10 picks mock draft
As the NFL draft draws near questions still remain over what some teams will do. The Patriots face a clear dilemma with many holes to fill, and the 49ers will be forced to choose between Mac Jones, Trey Lance, and Justin Fields. Will the Falcons pick a QB or a receiver and will the Bengals go for a offensive lineman or a wide receiver.
1st Pick-Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence QB
This is a no brainer for the Jaguars as the QB position is a building block for a team. The Jaguars team also does not currently have a reliable QB
2nd Pick-New York Jets
Zach Wilson QB
The Jets have traded away Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson is a perfect fit for the team. But the Jets will need to surround him with a good team or else he will become a bust like Sam Darnold.
3rd Pick-San Francisco 49ers
Justin Fields QB
The 49ers do not think they can rely on Jimmy G at the QB position so they definitely pick a QB. The 49ers either going to pick Justin Fields or Trey Lance. They will probably go for Justin Fields because he has done better in college football than Trey Lance.
4th Pick-Atlanta Falcons
Trey Lance QB
The falcons could get Kyler Pitts but they can get a receiver in the next round. The Falcons will probably go for a QB to be Matt Ryan’s successor.
5th Pick-Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase WR
Ja’Marr Chase will be a perfect fit because the bengals need some WRs to help Joe Borrow. Also Ja’Marr Chase was Joe Borrows former teammate at LSU so they already have trust in each other. Ja’Marr Chase is also one of the best wideouts in the draft.
6th Pick-Miami Dolphins
Jaylen Waddle WR
With Ja’marr Chase off the bored the next best WR is Jaylen Waddle. The Dolphins will be looking for a WR to help Tua and Jaylen Waddle will be perfect.
7th Pick-Detroit Lions
DeVonta Smith WR
The lions could trade with teams but they need to get some play makers for Jared Goff. DeVonta Smith will bring the speed and agility they need at the WR position. He is also the best WR still available.
8th Pick-Carolina Panther Trade to New England Patriots
Mac Jones QB
The broncos who are next also want a QB so the pats will have to trade up to the 8th pick if the want Mac Jones. The pats will probably trade a 2021 1st round pick a 2022 3rd round pick and a 2022 1st round pick to move up.
9th pick Denver Broncos
Penei Sewell
With all of the top QBs off the board the Broncos next best option is Penei Sewell. Penei Sewell is the best O lineman in the draft and will protect whoever their QB is.
10th pick Dallas Cowboys
Patrick Surtain II DB
With Dak Prescott coming back the Offense should be decent for the Cowboys. The only problem is that their defense sucks and they will probably start with getting a DB with the 10th pick in the draft. Patrick Surtain II is one of the two best DBs in the draft and will immediately become a threat to other teams.
