Who will the Patriots get at QB
The patriots like what I said in my last article have not chosen anyone at the QB position. The patriots might make not it to the playoffs if they do not fill this pressing need. As I said in the last article the pats might go for Jimmy Garoppolo. They might also go for Mac Jones in the draft. But the patriots have not made a move for any QBs and have been focusing on other needed position like WR and LB, maybe to make it look like a better choice but the pats and been spending big money and do not have a lot left. The player for the pats in my humble opinion is Mac Jones because he fits into the pats play style and will not cost a lot of money.
The only problem is that there are other teams who need QBs who have a higher draft pick than the Patriots like the 49ers with the third pick and the Falcons with the 4th pick. So it is not guaranteed that the pats will get him. The pats second choice with how much money they have is Jimmy G. If the 49ers pick Mac Jones in the draft they will probably trade Jimmy Garoppolo. So then the pats might be able to get Jimmy Garoppolo or the 49ers might keep him so Mac Jones can learn from him. If the patriots decide they want to trade up to one of the top 5 picks in the draft they will be able to get Trey Lance or Mac Jones guaranteed. Trading up in the draft is probably the pats best course of action even if they have to give up some players and future draft picks. If the patriots want to take their chances in the draft and it does not pay off they will probably be stuck with Cam Newton for this season. One of the few good Qbs left in the market is Deshaun Watson who wants to get traded from Houston.
The pats will probably have to give up some players like Kyle Van Noy or draft picks to get Deshaun Watson. If the patriots want a reliable QB who can bring the team a super bowl these are their only options right now.
